Gujarat Traffic Police Challan Rates List 2022

As per the data released by the Times in India, Gujarat has witnessed a sharp rise in fatal road accidents in recent years. The most common reason for road accidents is rash driving and failure to comply with road safety regulations. To tackle the situation, the Gujarat traffic department strictly imposes road safety rules and levies hefty fines on defaulters.

Gujarat Traffic Police also mandates drivers and riders to carry a valid driver’s license, registration certificate (RC), PUC certificate, and vehicle insurance. Traffic police or any authorized officer in uniform has the right to demand to see these documents. If a driver fails to present the documents, a challan will be issued in his name.
