Driver Not Using Seat Belt Challan

In India, it is mandatory for drivers and passengers of motor vehicles to wear seat belts while driving. The Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, and subsequent amendments make it compulsory for all drivers and passengers to wear seat belts while the vehicle is in motion.

If a driver is found not wearing a seat belt while driving, they may be fined. The fine amount may vary from state to state, but it can range from Rs. 1,000 to Rs. 2,000 or more depending on the type of violation.
