Failure to Make Prescribed Signal

In India, sudden and unnecessary braking while driving can be considered a violation of traffic rules. This is because abrupt braking can cause inconvenience and danger to other road users. According to the Indian Motor Vehicles Act of 1988, Section 184, any driver who drives a vehicle on a public road in a manner that is dangerous to the public, or in a manner that causes inconvenience to other road users, can be fined up to Rs. 1,000 for the first offence and up to Rs. 2,000 for any subsequent offence.
