It is illegal to hold multiple driving licenses (DL) for the same class of vehicle. If a person is found to be holding more than one DL for the same class of vehicle, they could face legal consequences.
According to the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, a person can hold only one valid DL for a particular class of vehicle. Obtaining multiple licenses for the same class of vehicle is considered a violation of the law.
